BOCA RATON, FL – April 25, 2025, 9:00 AM EDT – South Florida’s streak of pleasant spring weather continues, with Boca Raton enjoying warm temperatures and breezy conditions. However, the National Weather Service continues to warn of hazardous rip currents along the coast.

Expect partly sunny skies and a high near 84°F (29°C) this afternoon. Easterly winds around 10 to 20 mph will keep things breezy throughout the day, with moderate humidity levels making it a good day for most outdoor plans—so long as they don’t involve the surf.

A High Rip Current Risk remains in effect for Coastal Palm Beach County through Saturday evening. Swimmers and surfers are strongly advised to remain vigilant and swim near lifeguard stations, as rip currents can be life-threatening.

The stable weather pattern is expected to hold into the weekend, with highs staying in the mid-80s and overnight lows in the low 70s. No significant rain is expected, but rip current risks may persist along the Atlantic beaches into early next week.

  • Swim only near lifeguard-monitored areas and follow posted advisories
  • Avoid entering the ocean if you’re not a strong swimmer
  • If caught in a rip current, remain calm and swim parallel to the shoreline until free
