BOCA RATON, FL – March 24, 2025 — The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for patchy dense fog expected to develop overnight and linger into Tuesday morning, March 25, with reduced visibility potentially affecting drivers across inland areas of South Florida, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach.

  • Fog timing: 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Tuesday
  • Visibility: May drop to ¼ mile or less in certain areas
  • Probability of dense fog: 30–50% chance in affected inland communities
  • Affected areas: Alligator Alley, Lake Okeechobee communities, and suburbs of East and Gulf Coast metro areas—including inland parts of Palm Beach County
