Belle Glade, FL – A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) Corrections Deputy was fatally shot in a targeted attack in Belle Glade on February 5, 2025. The deputy, a 39-year-old, had served with the agency for three years.

Deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the area and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A ceremonial escort will take place from St. Mary’s Hospital to the Medical Examiner’s Office in honor of the fallen deputy.
