The crash occurred at approximately 2:08 p.m. on May 11, 2025. Investigators say a 2024 GMC bus, driven by Emily Milcent, 44, of Lake Worth, was traveling westbound on Belvedere Road in the left turn lane for PBIA. Simultaneously, Daniel Nelson Ducos, 39, of Boynton Beach, was riding a 2001 Suzuki GSXR-1000 motorcycle eastbound on Belvedere in the middle lane.

Both had a green traffic light.

As the bus turned left toward the airport entrance, it crossed into the path of the oncoming motorcycle, violating its right of way. The motorcycle struck the rear fender of the bus, and Ducos was ejected from the bike during the collision.

Ducos and the motorcycle came to rest in the intersection. He was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the bus came to a controlled stop at the airport entrance. No other injuries were reported.
