According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) Traffic Division, Barrios-Mancilla was backing out of her driveway in a 2016 Ford F-150 when she failed to notice Tapia-Gomez walking behind the truck. The vehicle struck the elderly woman, knocking her to the ground before the rear tire fatally ran over her.
