Flood Watch Remains in Effect Through Tuesday Morning for Boca Raton and Surrounding Areas

BOCA RATON, FL (May 12, 2025) — The National Weather Service in Miami has issued an update to the ongoing Flood Watch, which now remains in effect through Tuesday morning for Palm Beach County and much of South Florida, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach.

According to the advisory released at 3:17 PM EDT, flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains a threat across urban, low-lying, and poor drainage areas. A widespread 1 to 3 inches of rain has already fallen, with isolated areas reporting up to 5 inches. More rainfall is expected this evening and overnight, which could worsen already saturated conditions.
