Cyclist Killed in Late-Night Crash on Congress Ave!

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) is investigating a fatal traffic crash that resulted in the death of a bicyclist on Wednesday night.

The crash occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on March 12, 2025, near the 300 block of North Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach.

According to the preliminary investigation, a vehicle was traveling south on North Congress Avenue, just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, when it collided with an electric bike. The bicyclist, identified as 43-year-old Vincent Menniti, was traveling north in the southbound lanes when the vehicle’s front bumper struck the bike.

Emergency responders transported Menniti to Delray Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
