The Helicopter Romance has landed, but far from grounded.

While helicopter pilot George is back on the earth safely landed, his heart is still flying miles high. His mission now is to find that marvelous Marilyn to propose to, then make love to her right where she lives in towering beauty, that magnificent beachfront edifice, The Chalfonte, from which she sent those voluptuous waves.

But when he calls the condo, the person at the front desk who answers won’t give out her phone number.  So, he made a beeline over to meet Marilyn who was now his heartthrob from that blissful balcony from which she waved to him in his helicopter so enchantingly day after day.  She was now his Imperial highness, her Majesty Marilyn, whom he dreams one day will become his beautiful balcony bride.

Now here’s how the rest of this Helicopter Epic Love Story unfolds just as George dreams it will turn out when two hearts happily land together in holy matrimony occurring where else, but beside his helicopter on the runway to a happy ending.

When George finally asks at the front desk to see Marilyn in apartment 2402, the desk person has no choice but to call her.

“There’s someone to see you here, who says he’s your helicopter pilot,” she tells Marilyn.

“Oh yes, please fly him, I mean send him up,” Marilyn answers.

George thanks the front desk person who’s now smiling and proceeds to the elevator and up it flies toward heaven as George nervously clutches the bouquet of flowers he’s carrying.   When the elevator arrives and the door opens, Marilyn is standing there, even more beautiful than she was on the balcony.

George hands her the flowers, for which she thanks him tenderly, then leads him to her apartment.

Inside they couldn’t help but just stand there for a few moments finally face to face, her admiring his gleaming white straight teeth and blithesome blueness of his eyes while her luscious red lips unwrap an enchanting smile.

“I’m your forever pilot,” he says to her proudly.

“Who wonderfully catches my waves,” she responds demurely.

Then Marilyn shows him where they met, her beloved balcony, now the heliport to where both their hearts have flown and safely landed.

After several cups of aromatic coffee accompanying captivating croissants and charming conversation during those delicious moments finally on the balcony together, she escorts her prince pilot to the royal throne, her bedroom.

On that momentous day they were now on a glide path to where their dreams about one another would culminate, be fulfilled.

Following that majestic first night together, the pilot takes Marilyn out night after night where they talk at dinner about how in oceanfront condos, you’re more prone to make unhurried love to the sound of the waves, sensitively and slowly just as the ships you see gliding across the horizon from your so seductive balcony.

Oceanfront condos like The Chalfonte are like luxurious love boats tucked away in heavenly harbors, docked primarily for pleasure, pulsating and vibrating with human interest and personal contact in all the right places in mind, body and soul.

George and Marilyn enjoyed each other so much until one morning something so extraordinary would transpire that would have the whole condo buzzing.

That morning Geoge flew his helicopter over the condo on its usual mission. Only this time it stopped just above The Chalfonte and hovered as something was lowered from it.  At the end of the rope being lowered until it reached a point alongside the beloved balcony of apartment 2402 was a small black box.

Excited, Marilyn reaches over the balcony railing to grab hold of the small black box and nervously pulls it towards her.

Now all the condo’s balconies were full of hyper curious onlookers watching a most unusual but intoxicating performance. It was akin to an upside-down version of Romeo sending a symbol of his love to Juliet on her beloved balcony.

It was as if the helicopter hovering above was saying what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet, now Marilyn, is the sun,” for “What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet” but to George, Marilyn was the essence of sweetness.

Marilyn, now Juliet, opens the box and beholds a smaller box which she opens and sees a sparkling diamond ring, which she hurriedly removes and places proudly on her finger, then thrusts out her lovely arm so her helicopter epic lover could see that glorious, so deserving ring on her pretty finger as the entire audience on balconies erupts into cheers and applause.

Then the helicopter rises and tilts a salute before flying off to that marvelously uplifting and so memorable a place . . .
